| | Sample_treatment_protocol_ch1 | PBMC were isolated via Ficoll density centrifugation. Peripheral blood cells from six individuals were pooled and enriched for CD8+ T cells via MACS depletion of CD4+ and CD14+ cells. Cells then were stained for the surface molecules TCR alpha beta, CD3, CD8, CCR7 and NKp80. Cell sorting into TCR alpha beta+, CD3+, CD8+, CCR7-, NKp80+/- fractions was performed on a FACS Aria Cell Sorter (BD). Sorted cells were sorted by -80°C before RNA extraction.
