| Sample_extract_protocol_ch1 | Paired samples of omental and subcutaneous adipose were obtained from fasting patients during gastric bypass surgery. Whole adipose tissue was dissected to remove fibrotic tissue and obvious vasculature, and frozen in 0.5 cm3 sections in liquid nitrogen.
