Total RNA was resuspended in RNase free water and assessed with the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and RNA 6000 Nano assay (Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, CA). All RNA samples were stored at -80C prior to shipment on dry ice to Expression Analysis Inc, (Durham, NC).
