HUVEC were transduced with a recombinant adenovirus (AdV) for expression of human SOX18 in an IRES-EGFP casette, or control AdV containing EGFP only. From these cells, as well as from non-transduced HUVEC, RNA was extracted 16 hours later using a Qiagen kit, and analyzed.
